We are delighted with the fantastic achievements of all our students in their recent Level 3 qualifications and are very proud of the hard work and positive attitude that has earned them these outstanding results

All Year 13 students wishing to attend University have been successful in achieving their places.Assistant Head teacher for Sixth Form, Mike Winter stated ‘Our A Level students have worked very hard to achieve their grades. I am very proud of them all. We are confident that as our Sixth Form, which Ofsted recognised as ‘Good’, grows, this rising trend in achievement will continue.’
Every student deserves recognition for their individual achievement and the following students deserve a special mention:
Head Girl Annabelle Bullock and Joseph Hayne achieved top grades in all four of their A-level or equivalent courses and have successfully gained places at the University of Hertfordshire studying Sports Studies and Accounting and Finance respectively.
Aaron Reed achieved 3 top grades in his A-level or Equivalent courses securing a place to study Architecture at Lincoln University.
Georgia Wynn will be attending Buckinghamshire University to study Dance and Performance following her successfully achieving top grades in all of her A-level or equivalent courses.
Elite Swimmer Lily West will continue her Olympic Dream following her outstanding results. She will combine elite training with studying Sports Performance at the University of Bath.
Taylor Slater achieved excellent grades and will pursue studies in Primary Education at the University of Hertfordshire. Her mother Mrs Williams stated ‘I am overwhelmed at the teachers for working so hard to pull Taylor’s grades up and to help her do so well. She worked so hard and thoroughly deserves her success’.
We are sure that tonight Marriotts’ students and their families will be celebrating these well-deserved results and we wish them every success in their future endeavours.
A Level English teacher, Miss Nicola Rees said’ It is great to see how far we have come as a school and to celebrate their success with our lovely students, who are the reason we strive to improve every day’.
Head teacher Bethany Honnor said ’ I am immensely proud of our students’ achievement and would like to thank them and their teachers for their dedication and hard work and their families for their ongoing support and belief in our school .We continue to work hard to improve and grow our Sixth Form provision so that our students excel and can move on successfully to the next stage of their lives. Numbers in sixth form are growing year on year and we are proud of our vibrant community’.
