Business (KS4/5)
What is it to be an entrepreneur at Marriotts?
We aim to maximise opportunities and mirror the Marriotts school ethos. We aim to give all students access to develop the Business knowledge and skills needed to further their own personal development and equip them for their futures. Students will learn to apply thier knowledge and understanding to contemporary business within a local, national and global contexts. They will develop as enterprising individuals with the ability to think commercially and creatively to demonstrate business acumen, and draw on evidence to make informed business decisions and solve business problems. They will think independently and act as critical and reflective thinkers with enquiring minds with balanced and structured arguments.
Our aim is to build on the strength of the curriculum offer to develop opportunities and learning outside the classroom and ensure that all students are given the opportunity to access them.
